How much does it cost to have someone do hardwood floors?
It depends on the square footage, the condition of the wood, whether you want a stain color and whether there are stairs. We give every homeowner a free written estimate after seeing the floors, so you know the full price before we start.
Is it cheaper to refinish or replace hardwood floors?
Refinishing is almost always cheaper. Solid hardwood can usually be sanded and refinished several times, and damaged boards can be replaced one at a time. We'll tell you honestly if your floors can be saved before you spend money on new ones.
Is professional hardwood floor cleaning worth it?
If your floors are sound but dull and grimy, yes. A deep clean that's safe for wood removes buildup a mop leaves behind. If the finish itself is worn through, cleaning won't fix it, and we'll tell you whether a recoat or refinish makes more sense.
